This means that you get it, start it up, and it works !… I STRONGLY suggest that you get the Square Trade Warranty. I will gladly refund my commission to any one who does buy one. While I did not urge this is the past, the computers that I was selling were only in the $ 2-300.00 range. now, these are double in price. I would hate to see someone buy one, then say, 9 months later, it die, leaving you with no recourse. you spent a lot of money on this computer. Protect it ! It is like AppleCare for used computers. when the price of these computers eventually drops below $ 300.00, I will drop this notice on all my listings, as then, the warranty might not be worth the price……………………..

I have acquired these systems through an organizational upgrade. They come with OS 10

Here’s what I did to make whoever buys these, a happy camper !

First I ran disk utilities to check the health of the disk

I then upgraded them with Apple’s free system upgrades, so now they are at 10.6.8

All security fixes were also applied

iLife applications are up to date for this computer. 08′

I then re-ran the disk utilities

I checked to make sure all ports are working

The keyboard keys were checked

The battery is charged, just no guarantee on length of time that it will last.

(UNLESS noted above, all these are used batteries and have at least a 2 hour charge recorded in the finder)

This computer is fast, everything works, and it is truly plug and play.

This will make a great gift or second computer purchase.

NOTE: as with most older computers, these have their share of scrapes dings, and tape marks on the casing. (LCD is OK). if your looking for substance and computing power, you will be pleased….Looks…maybe not.
